Please bring in 1 -3 different apples (see apple note).
Write a grocery list for your favorite apple recipe. Examples might be apple muffins, apple pie, apple cake.
Make number bonds for numbers 5 through 10. See how many different ways you can make each number.
Weigh two paper bags of apples (or whatever you have on hand) and help your child figure out the difference between the two.
Talk about terms such as, "How much less is this bag than that bag?", "How many fewer apples are in this bag?", "How many apples would you predict it would take to make 5 pounds?" Have fun and make up your own questions.
Put your spelling words into sentences.
